Flexible Drying Modes

These dryers can operate in both continuous flow mode—where product moves steadily through 1–2 drying decks with evaporation capacity up to 750 L/h—and batch flow (semi-continuous) mode with 5–15 modular drying decks and up to 7 temperature zones. This flexibility enables rapid switching between raw materials, precise control of drying intensity, and reduced downtime for reconfiguration

Uniform Distribution and Process Stability

To ensure a consistent product layer, batch models use a PLC-controlled belt distributor, while continuous models employ an adjustable rotating distributor with rakes. These systems prevent irregular bed thickness, ensuring uniform drying and dehydration across the entire product mass. A dosing valve at the outlet prevents infiltration of external air and maintains a steady feed into downstream operations

The counterflow dryer is a vertical, sectional design equipped with thermal insulation, air supply and exhaust systems, distribution mechanisms, and discharge valves. Its modular construction allows adaptation to different raw material volumes and product specifications, including sunflower seed, soybean, rapeseed, and other oilseeds.

Raw material is loaded into the top section of the dryer and gradually moves downward through several drying decks under the influence of gravity. At the same time, hot air is introduced from the bottom of the unit, moving in the opposite direction to the product flow. This counterflow mode ensures intensive heat transfer, uniform moisture removal, and prevents overheating of the product while preserving its nutritional and technological properties.
