A pellet mill for agricultural pellet production is a machine that compresses ground feedstock – such as grains, compound feeds, oilseed meals, straw, biomass, etc. – into dense, uniform pellets. This equipment enables efficient utilization of agricultural residues, the creation of feed or fuel pellets, and improves storage, transport, and handling convenience. Pellet mills deliver consistent pellet size, high density and durability, while optimizing cost-efficiency and logistics. They are ideally suited for farms, feed mills, and biofuel production lines. The power of the pellet mills ranges from 22 to 600 kW, depending on the model and the required production capacity.

The installed motor can conduct its energy directly to the installed rollers and die. The CPM gearbox concept also allows the installation of commonly available high efficiency motors with high power ratings.
