Gradex® 2000 particle size analyzers enable more frequent and faster product analysis, eliminating operator error and subjectivity. The device combines reliable particle size analysis with extremely low maintenance requirements. The main task of the system is to provide accurate and repeatable analysis of glass particle fractions and to effectively separate them from unwanted impurities such as ceramics, metal, plastic, or dust. Gradex® 2000 automates all stages of analysis: sieving, screen cleaning, weighing, and digital transfer of results. Rotex can offer various models – contact us to select the equipment according to your needs.
Gradex® 2000 uses standard round sieves with a diameter of 8″ (200 mm), both full and half height. They are easy to insert and change according to specific test requirements. This allows for the analysis of various materials – from fine powders to coarse glass particles – with maximum accuracy and flexibility.
The Auto Feed Option allows the system to process multiple samples consecutively without operator intervention. This significantly increases laboratory productivity and minimizes the influence of human factors during analysis. The automated feeding system ensures a continuous testing process, which is especially important for facilities with high-volume quality control operations.
Gradex® 2000 fully automates the sieve analysis process by utilizing high-precision Mettler Toledo balances for standardized material weighing. The system combines optimized stroke and vibration frequency with automatic sieve brushing, ensuring consistent and repeatable analysis results. This approach eliminates operator-related errors, improves accuracy, and enables faster and more efficient testing procedures.
The operator can view the results for a single test or create summary reports for a series of measurements. Various formats are available: data dynamics over time, batch comparisons, and statistical summaries. This greatly facilitates quality control, particularly in glass recycling, where the stability of the fraction composition is important.
GRADEX 2000 is a patented, computer-controlled device that fully automates the sieving process. It provides automatic analysis and complete data printing, both in the laboratory and directly in production, enabling statistical process control (SPC) for modern, quality-oriented manufacturers. Full automation of the sieve analysis process with GRADEX 2000 allows for more frequent and timely product control, providing better control over raw material intake, material processing, and finished product quality. In addition, the device frees up technical personnel to perform other tasks while increasing the accuracy and repeatability of tests by eliminating human error. This minimizes the human factor, increases the stability of results, and allows for rapid control of the quality of processed glass waste.
