The chip feeder is an important element in the technological processes of wood processing, which ensures a stable supply of material to the screen for sorting. Its use allows you to achieve a uniform distribution of chips across the entire working width of the screen, which directly affects the screening efficiency and the quality of the final product. Structurally, the Feeder is bolted to the bottom of a suitably sized surge bin by means of a flanged connection, forming a single complex for the accumulation and dosed supply of chips. This allows you to reduce the size of the screen and reduce the requirements for its buffer capacity, while ensuring stable operation of the equipment. The rotary chip feeder combines the functions of accumulation control and uniform material feed. Its design includes:
– Positive displacement 6-pocket rotor, evenly distributes load onto the screen infeed chute.
– Two-row spherical bearings provide long trouble trouble-free life
– Relief-gate controlled by adjustable pneumatic cylinders allows oversize chunks or debris to pass through.
– Standard drive components, such as a shaft mount helical reducer, 1800 RPM motor, v-belt drive, and fully enclosed guard, make the feeder easy to service.
– Optional variable speed control gives infinite feed-rate control.
