Pellet Mills for the production of pellets from municipal solid waste are industrial machines designed to process waste into dense pellets suitable for further use or energy applications. Such waste may include food scraps, paper, cardboard, wood residues, plant trimmings, packaging materials, and other organic or combustible fractions of MSW. The pelleting process reduces waste volume, improves material consistency, simplifies handling and storage, and converts waste into a standardized product with stable properties. These pellet mills are engineered to operate reliably with heterogeneous feedstocks and are widely used in waste recycling and utilization systems.
Quiet, smooth and reliable, CPM directgear drive systems are known for their trouble-free operation and extremely long operating life. Energy transfer is most efficient in this system. Without a doubt, CPM direct drives offer reliability and low maintenance not found with other types of drives. The CPM pellet mill “gear box concept” makes the machine exceptionally efficient and compact. The installed motor can conduct its energy directly to the installed rollers and die. The CPM gearbox concept also allows the installation of commonly available high efficiency motors with high power ratings.

Twin Track uses two rollers and, uniquely, each roller has its own track. Our system pushes pellets with one long, energy-effi cient push per die revolution. This means less energy (in kWh/t) is needed to create the pellet with Twin Track than with 2 or 3-roller machines – which push 2 or 3 times per revolution. And with Twin Track, we’ve also increased the number of holes in each die by a massive 43%. This creates a wider layer of raw wood material, which in turn produces a greater number of pellets per revolution. Greater energy savings and greater capacity
