Glycerine-containing water from oil splitting or biodiesel production first undergoes a pretreatment stage before evaporation and distillation. During this stage, initial moisture and volatile impurities are removed to improve process efficiency and product quality.
The vacuum drying loop ensures efficient moisture removal at low temperatures, helping prevent thermal degradation of the product. The heat recovery system improves operational efficiency and reduces steam consumption. The pretreated feedstock is then transferred to the evaporation and distillation section.
