The ripening mixer is an important element of Pellet Mill lines and ensures optimal preparation of the husks before it is fed into the pellet mill. In the mixer, the raw material is thoroughly mixed with steam and/or water, which allows the required moisture content and uniform product structure to be achieved. This guarantees stable pellet quality and increases the efficiency of the pellet mill.
Additionally, the mixer acts as a buffer, ensuring uniform material feed and stable operation of the entire line.
Our mixers have been developed by carefully analysing the different operational and stress situations the machine can experience in the field, making them suitable for a wide variety of raw materials. They feature a sturdy frame built with reinforced sheet metal with ribbing on the outer surface. The sturdy main shaft is equipped with special mixing profiles to ensure a perfectly homogeneous product blend.
The equipment is fitted with quality bearings for the rotation and support of the main shaft and a gear motor installed directly on the shaft for maximum efficiency. For ease of maintenance and safety, anti-explosion doors are provided, and product discharge occurs through a lower unloading outlet. The CMX mixer range (from 20 to 120) allows for a nominal volume selection between 2,000 and 12,000 liters.
