Increased screen width allows efficient processing of large material volumes without excessive material buildup, which is crucial for accurate separation. MEGATEX uses multi-deck screens 12–15 meters wide, ensuring optimal material distribution and maintaining high performance even under heavy loads. This design preserves separation accuracy, reduces screen clogging, and improves overall production efficiency.
A low-frequency long stroke of up to 7.5 cm evenly distributes material across the entire screen width, ensuring proportional feed across all decks. At the same time, it effectively cleans the screens, preventing blinding and product loss. This combination of long stroke and low frequency ensures uninterrupted operation, high separation accuracy, and maximum productivity even at high throughputs.
Doors on both ends of the grain separator allow operators to access the screens from either side. This significantly simplifies maintenance, cleaning, and screen replacement, reduces downtime, and increases overall equipment productivity. The design also allows quick detection and resolution of operational issues, ensuring stable performance under heavy loads.
Separators are equipped with heavy-duty DESTACO clamp latches designed for fast and safe door opening. This allows personnel to access screens and internal components without additional tools, reducing maintenance time, minimizing the risk of damage, and improving production efficiency.
High-load zones of the grain separator are protected by replaceable ceramic tiles and Kryptane® sheets. This provides excellent wear resistance even when handling abrasive materials. Such protection extends equipment service life, reduces repair frequency, and maintains consistent processing quality over many years.
Each separator is equipped with an upper coarse screening section that removes large particles from the material before it passes through the main screen. This prevents screen clogging, improves separation accuracy, and ensures a cleaner and more uniform final product. Such a design also increases equipment productivity and reduces maintenance costs, as large foreign objects are removed prior to the main cleaning process.
The high-capacity grain cleaning separator is designed for fast and efficient sorting, classification, and cleaning of bulk materials by particle size, weight, or density. Multi-deck wide screens up to 15 meters wide and long, low-frequency gyratory motion ensure uniform material distribution, effective self-cleaning of screens, and high separation accuracy even at high capacities. A large screening area in a single unit allows throughput of up to 50,000 BPH, ensuring stable product quality, minimal losses, and resource efficiency. MEGATEX separators are available in three series with screen areas from 120 to 360 square feet (11–33 m²), enabling selection of the optimal model for any production requirement.
