Pellet mills for post-biogas residues are industrial machines designed to process the digestate remaining after biomass fermentation into dense pellets. These residues, known as biogas substrate or digestate, are rich in organic matter suitable for fertilizers and require stabilization before further use. Pelleting reduces material volume, simplifies transport and storage, stabilizes physical properties, and produces a convenient product for soil application or as a component of organic fertilizers. Modern pellet mills operate reliably with wet and heterogeneous feedstocks.
