Depending on the automation level and installation conditions, slide gates are divided into three main types:
– Manual: The simplest and most reliable solution. Actuation is performed via a handwheel or a chain wheel for gates located at significant heights.
– Pneumatic: Equipped with pneumatic cylinders for instantaneous and powerful channel isolation. This is the standard for automated lines requiring rapid response.
– Electric: Provides smooth movement of the slide plate. Integrated position indicators allow for both flow shut-off and precise product dosing in intermediate positions.
